Colleague walking through the warehouse in Belfeld

From warehouse toair freight

A shipment only arrives safely when all our departments work well together. Each department has its own role in that chain. Which one suits you depends on what you enjoy doing.

Warehouse

From inbound trailer tooutbound order

Much of what we do starts and ends at BF Global Warehouse. Goods come in, are stored and go back out the door as orders. It's physical work in a close team, and at the end of your shift you can see what you've achieved.

What you get

  • A forklift licence on us if you do not have one yet
  • Rotating shifts, or evenings only from 5 pm
  • Grow from warehouse operative to working foreman, leading a group

What you do

You load and unload, prepare orders and check incoming goods. In the e-commerce department you also process returns.

What you bring

A forklift licence, or the willingness to get one with us. You work rotating shifts or evenings only from 5 pm.

What you learn

You learn to work with the warehouse management system and the reach truck. A next step is working foreman, leading a group of colleagues.

Road transport

Fit every shipment onto theright truck

BF Global Logistics connects the warehouse with the rest of Europe. Shuttles leave on fixed days, and shipments are combined at the cross-dock. Something always changes along the way, and planning takes care of it.

What you get

  • You get to know the European transport market, from rates to UK customs
  • Day shift at the office, rotating shifts at the cross-dock
  • Fixed departure days to plan around, with the cross-dock as your hub

What you do

As a forwarder, you plan and combine shipments so every trip runs profitably. At the cross-dock you load and unload, and in customer service you help customers straight away.

What you bring

For planning, you have a bachelor's level of thinking and three years of experience in transport. For the cross-dock, you have a forklift and reach truck certificate.

What you learn

You get to know the European transport market, from rates to customs rules for the United Kingdom.

Freight+

Move freight acrossoceans and borders

Where the road ends, BF Global Freight+ takes over, shipping freight all over the world. You work with partners in other countries all day and make sure everything is right before a shipment leaves.

What you get

  • You learn the IATA and customs rules on the job
  • A day shift in Enschede, no shift work
  • Partners in more than 70 countries, so you work internationally every day

What you do

You book shipments with carriers and prepare the transport documents. At Customs you handle import and export declarations yourself.

What you bring

You have a vocational or bachelor's level of education and good English, because your partners are in more than 70 countries. Experience in forwarding or customs is a plus.

What you learn

You learn IATA and customs rules, and how to combine a shipment that travels first by ship and then by plane.

Office and support

Keep three companiesrunning

Behind the three companies is one support team that works for the whole group. The teams are small, so your work has a direct impact.

What you get

  • Small teams, so your work has direct impact
  • You work for all three companies at once
  • A day shift in Enschede or Raamsdonksveer

What you do

In inside sales you give a customer a price within an hour, and in HR you handle everything from hiring to leaving.

What you bring

A vocational or bachelor's level of education, depending on the role, and you like working independently in a small team.

What you learn

You learn how a logistics group works from the inside, because you deal with all three companies.
